Jan has been an educator in the San Francisco Unified School District for over 25 years. Currently she is an administrator in the Research Planning and Accountability Department. Prior to working in San Francisco, Jan traveled throughout Southeast Asia on a sailboat for a few years using celestial navigation. She has lived and traveled internationally. When not working, she resides with her multi-generational family in Marin County, CA. She plans to continue her adventure travel upon her retirement.
